My sister nursed him as long as she could, but had to move him to Kingsway as it got too much for her. She used to nurse at the Kingsway before she got married. She met her husband Len there whilst nursing. He fell off his motor bike and was admitted with concussion. That is how they met.
Thomas was an ex Sergeant Grenadier Guard 1st Battalian. An 'Old Contemptible' 1914-1918 War.
